Hopefully any questions you haver regarding our services can be answered below but if you still have unanswered questions, please feel free to contact us.

Q. Who photographs our wedding?
A. We are a husband and wife team and we both come along and photograph your special day. We do not send substitutes or offer any agency type photographers. You speak to us, book us, we turn up to photograph your day! Because there is two of us, this gives you more choice of images from your wedding!

Q. How long do you take to do the posed shots?
A. We have taken just 9 minutes at some weddings, others are longer but as a guide, 30 minutes is usually enough to capture the images you request (this is around 30 or so).

Q. What do you photograph?
A. We start at the brides preperation, Michelle usually handles this as Barry meets with the grooms to capture any last minute nerves. We then capture the arrival of guests, the preperation before the wedding, the groom and then brides entrance. The ceremory, exchange of rings, the reparture and beginnings of the reception including guests. We mock a cake cutting picture and then leave at the beginning of the wedding breakfast which includes speeches if they are before the breakfast. We can also photograph the evening reception, first dance of the bride and groom and evening guests enjoying the party! The photography of the evening must be booked in advance from the wedding photography.

Q. How do you photograph our wedding?
A. Being two photographers you get the best of both formal and reportage photography giving you a great contemporary selection of photographs, both traditional shots with the posed captures and candid captures to see people in their natural relaxed state.

Q.After our wedding, when do we get our pictures?
A. Your online website of images is live the following day of your wedding with the full selection within the week after your special day. You can show people your wedding images less than 24 hours after you are married. This is a secure online gallery which isn't available to anyone other than people who you give the website address to. We also have our online printing facility for guests to buy prints from! This is also provided free of charge! When you have chosen your pictures for your wedding book (if you ordered one) from the high resolution dvd of images you receive from us, we create your wedding book. Upon completion, you can choose to proof this book on our computers and change pictures around or change anything your not 100% happy with. When your happy, we'll send the book off to the printers and within two weeks, your book will be here for you to collect from us or for us to send onto you! In short, around three weeks from your wedding day, your wedding album can be back with you.

Q. How many pictures can we choose for our album?
A. We suggest 300 images for your album over 160 pages. You can, of course, choose more but this will reduce the overall size of the images on the page. Take a look at images of our wedding books which will show you what we mean!

Q. How many photographs do we receive and do we get all the pictures you take?
A. We normally capture 550-800 images from your wedding day. From these, you choose what images you want in your wedding book but you keep all of the images which are supplied on dvd/cd. These are high resolution images which are your "digital negatives" and from which, you can print from them, post them to websites (facebook, flickr) etc

Q. Do you need a deposit?
A. We ask for £150 as a deposit to secure your wedding date. Because we only take one wedding on any chosen day, the first to secure with a deposit will secure our services. Some key dates are booked very early on and sadly if this is the case, your deposit will be returned to you. If you change the date of the wedding we are happy to move this deposit over to the new date, provided we are still available!

Q. Does the weather affect how our wedding pictures will be captured?
A. It can rain, it can be sunny but since we have been photographing weddings (from May 1985) we have never had the days images ruined by the weather. Infact, if it does rain, it gives us some props to play with for extra pictures! Umbrella anyone?

Q. Are you a full time?
A. Our only jobs are photographers and Barry has won awards for his photographic work.

Q. Are any costs not inclusive?
A. All costs are fully inclusive, there is nothing to be added to the price you see advertised. All editing of images and uploading of any images to websites or printing services are included.

Q. What albums do you provide?
A. We offer two different albums. One is 13 inches x 11 inches which is 33cm x 28cm, another is 10 inches x 8 inches which is 25cm x 20cm. These are both hardcover books.

Q. Do you meet us before the wedding?
A. We do like to sit down together for a chat before the wedding day, this allows us to ask about what photographs you want and if its possible to capture this for you. Our meeting can be with us to see our wedding albums or we can meet at the wedding venue, whichever is easier!

Q. I have certain ideas I would like for pictures? Can you do these?
A. Yes, we love to hear any ideas you have for pictures and to see if we can provide you with images from your ideas! We'll try anything and will work with you to get the image you want!

Q. We can't decide which photographer to book! Help!
A. Your photographer is the one who captures what remains with you for the rest of your life. You need to choose a photographer who you can get on with and will bring the best out of you and your guests to get the very best pictures from your wedding day. You need to be relaxed with them and enjoy your time in front of the camera!

Q. Can I see a recent wedding you photographed?
A. Our gallery http://www.clackphotography.co.uk/gallery/index.html shows images from all our recent weddings and when we meet, we can show you actual albums from complete weddings and not just a showcase of several weddings.

Q. Can my other guests take pictures?
A. Yes! We love to see people taking their own variation of wedding pictures from photography enthusiasts at your wedding and usually include pictures of the photographers taking pictures of you in your selection!

Q. Can you take a picture of specific people for me?
A. Yes! Any special one off must have images can easily be captured. Just tell us who you want! Be aware though that if there are a lot of “posed” images, allow a little more time within your planning schedule for pictures.

Q. What if your camera breaks on the day?
A. Being two photographers we have a camera each, we also have a backup camera each so on any single wedding we have four cameras to choose from to use!

Q. Can I buy the negatives from you?
A. No, we give them to you. We shoot on professional digital cameras and you get the digital negatives on all our packages.

Q. Can I have some Black & White pictures?
A. All the images we supply are in colour, black & white and sepia toned so you can choose whichever you want for the wedding book.

Q. Are references available from other couples?
A. Yes of course, we can provide you with references for you to contact and speak to about the services they received from us for their weddings.

Q. Where do we go from here?
